When the weather stays to cool off, I love drinking Chai Tea. I don’t however love all the sugar in it. (I’d rather eat my calories, than drink it!).
I used Nectresse, a new product made by the makers of Splenda. Nectresse is a 100% natural sweetener made from fruit- monk fruit extract. It’s not available in all major grocery stores. As a lover of Stevia and Truvia, I was eager to try this new “sugar” made from monk fruit! And I was pleasantly surprised. It has a very powerful sugar taste, so a little goes a long way. I loved the way it bumped of the sweetness of my Chai tea without being overly sweet- and best part is- NO CALORIES!
